The Police – Sting’s Birthday Bash: Live in Barcelona, 1983 (12-Inch Double-LP)

This double album showcases The Police’s incredible concert at Camp Municipal Narcís Sala, in Barcelona, on 1 October 1983, during the Synchronicity Tour.

The tour in support of The Police’s fifth and final studio album, Synchronicity, commenced on 23 July 1983 in Chicago and concluded on 4 March 1984 in Melbourne. It touched three continents for a total of 105 shows.

This Barcelona show coincided with Sting’s 32nd birthday, and at the concert’s culmination the band and audience joined together to sing “Happy Birthday”.

Featured here, are stunning renditions of classics such as Every Breath You Take, Message on a Bottle, Roxanne, Don’t Stand So Close to Me, Can’t Stand Losing You, Walking on the Moon and many more.
